TMS 320 C 2000

Hi all,

I just got TMS 320 C2000 with 2 modems inside the box. I am power electrical engineer but my professor would like to know how to set up these modems and use it in PLC application.

So I would like to have some hints how to set up and connected to the computer?

what I should do?

hi Ossama,

You can find the details on how to run and the Sw details in the below link .

please use SCI -B instead of SCI A as the kit used in the package is the latest kit v4 instead of the v3 that you have .

I check the maunal guide but the switch numbers is totally different from the one I have,for instance in my board SW1 is the big red switch

hi Ossama ,

As i said the guides are for the v4 kit and nit the v3 kit . I have shared the older package which can give you details on the h/w etc in the below link . for the latest software you can use the link in shared previously .

Would this modems work for 200 VDC line as well or it is only AC lines

hi Ossama ,

The current hardware v3 and v4 only supports AC lines .

Hi,

what is the difference between PHY ONTIME THROUGHPUT and PHY ACTUAL DATA THROUGHPUT in the intermediate GUI reading?

I connected the two modems while sending the file I have these 2 readings but I can not differentiated between them.

Do the modems able to connect over 3 km twisted pair line.
