Hi,

I've to design a control board aimed at two same kinds of BLDC motor, except one is 40V, the other's 24V.

So I've adapted Vbus sensing to be 3V at 42V bus voltage.

Please I'd like to know what's the impact on the 24V BLDC motor control?

for the 24V motor you will see slightly worse very low speed performance.

BTW - for a 40V system I would probably design for at least 48V bus.

What do you mean by designing for at least 48V bus: do you mean I should choose a resistor bridge for this voltage (I've designed it to have 3.3V for 46V bus voltage)? Or do you mean I should use a 48V bus voltage?

I meant to scale the voltage sense circuit to read 3.3V at 48Vdc. If you used 46V that should be fine.
