Hi,

i am working with c2000 piccolo launchpad evaluation kit launchxl F28027F with Drv8301, here i am reading the Status registers to get Faults (if any faults occurs). while i am rotating the BLDC motor (12VDC, 3000RPM, 3.86A specification), when i am decrease slowly the supply voltage of BLDC Motor from 12VDC, at 5.2V i am getting all faults. here i have a doubt that why i am getting GVDD_UV and GVDD_OV faults at a time?it is possible to get any one the them but i am getting both faults at a time. Please clarify my doubt.

I believe you are going under the operating voltage of the DRV8301 device. Let me send to the DRV83 team for comment.

Hi Pattan,

Chris is correct. A PVDD voltage of 5.2V is below the PVDD_UV threshold.

According to the datasheet, the SPI does not respond when in PVDD_UV. This will have to be checked.

Its ok.but why i am getting GVDD_OV fault when my voltage is low?
