i am working with c2000 piccolo launchpad evaluation kit launchxl F28027F with Drv8301. here i am rotating a BLDC motor (12VDC, 3000,RPM, 3.85A specifications). i am using an LCD to display torque, Motor rotating RPM and Faults (if occur). i am accessing Status Registers. at Initial point all the faults are Zero. after a time of 1 minute i am getting (mosfetC_lowside_overcurrent) the zeroth bit of status register 1 as high, and when i am decrease the supply voltage of drv8301 from 12VDC, at 5.2VDC all the faults become high. here my doubt is how it is possible to get GVDD_UV and GVDD_OV at a time. at this time SPI not respond to the commands. is this the reason that it shows all faults high?. and why i am getting intially zeroth bit of Status register 1 as high. to clarify this i also select overCurrentShutdown i.e, when ever i get overcurrent the entire system will shutdown. but the motor does not stops.
