Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE, TMS320F28075
Hi all,
I just bought a Piccolo F28075 Experimenter’s Kit and started using it, however I already have many issues.
I searched a lot to find tutorials to get started, but unfortunately there is not so much that I could find.
I downloaded the latest versions of ControlSuite and CCS. The issues that I am having:
First, I connect the docking station using a USB cable to a PC. LEDs are lit on the DS and controlcard, but there is not a plug&play driver installation message from Windows, as opposed to what I have seen on Youtube or other resources.
Second, there are a few switches on the controlcard that I don't know if they need to be changed or not. For the moment I haven't touched them.
In the CCS, I tried loading a project called blinky_cpu01 from controlsuite. In target configuration I have set the connection to XDS100v2, and device to TMS320F28075 (why there other experiment's kits such as F28035 and not this one?)
This is the error that I get when I hit the test connection:
[Start: Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Debug Probe_0]
Execute the command:
%ccs_base%/common/uscif/dbgjtag -f %boarddatafile% -rv -o -F inform,logfile=yes -S pathlength -S integrity
[Result]
-----[Print the board config pathname(s)]------------------------------------

-----[Print the reset-command software log-file]-----------------------------

This utility will load the adapter 'jioserdesusb.dll'.
An error occurred while soft opening the controller.
-----[An error has occurred and this utility has aborted]--------------------
This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.
The value is '-600' (0xfffffda8).
The title is 'SC_ERR_LIB_ANY_LOCATE'.
The explanation is:
A required dynamic library could not be located.
The library isn't on the search path.

Many thanks in adcanve for your help. Also please let me know where I can find tutorials/guides to get the things started.
Cheers
