windows 10 usb_dev_serial compatibility

Good Day.
We are using the c28m35h52c1 controller and the CCS v.6.1.3 and found out that the usb_dev_serial driver from windows_drivers directory does not work on Windows 10.
First, OS does not allow to install the driver.
Second. If we use a workaround the driver is installed and looks like successfully functioining in Control Panel. But actually, the driver does not work - if we try to open the port the system returns the error.
Final note. We can install the dirver on Windows 7 and it continues working after updating the OS to Windows 10.

Hi,

The drivers are not signed and hence issue with Windows 10. Check this link:

Maybe our question was not clear. In the second part of our question we wrote, that even if after using the workaround you mentioned and after the device is showed in Control Panel as successfully installed the virtual port couldn't be opened from a program and gives an error. This issue occurs only on Windows 10. If we migrate to Windows 10 from the Windows 7 the port does work.
