I have been using 28035 control card in one of my project. Recently I took the gerber file/BOM of the control card from the control suite and built in-house control card. Even there were two external jumpers(wires) on the original TI control card which I took care of in my board also(Putting similar jumper wires). The supply to the board seems to be OK. But when I try to flash program to the control card, an error pops-up the details of which is given below.

One of the FTDI driver function used during the connect returned bad status or an error.The cause may be one or more of:invalid XDS100 serial number,blank XDS100 EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers,faulty USB cable.
Use the XDS100 serial command line utility in the 'command/uscif ' folder to verify the XDS100 can be located.

Following the instruction I run the command line utility. But the problem still persists.

Hi Kamal,
The FTDI chip's EEPROM needs to be programmed before it will work as an xds100-v1.
