Using eQEP as eCAP

Hi,

I'm using 28069. I need 6 channels of eCAP...

What would be the method for connecting a pulse train to eQEP module to measure the pulse width (duty cycle)?

I'm trying to achieve extra eCAP interfaces..

Possible?

    Hi Mojo,

    As far as I know, you could use the eQEP for this, but there are a few things to be aware of:
    1) eQEP's QCTMR is only 16bits
    2) you'll want to configure the QEP in direction-count mode.
    3) The Edge Capture unit (for doing the capture) along with the Unit Timer (for latching the capture registers and probably generating an interrupt).

    If you're able to get this working, I'd be interested in hearing about it.
