Query on SOLAR MICRO INVERTER DEVELOPMENT KIT

I would suggest trying build level 3 with MPPT disabled

Good Evening!

I checked with DC Power supply also with MPPT Disabled but facing the same issue.

When i tested the kit with multimeter at test points TP12 and TP13, it is showing short circuit. 

I think the kit is damaged and probably FET needs to be replaced. If its so kindly help me in fixing the issue...?

Also Can u provide brief information on Grid Injection..?

you problem is in U16, possibly you've tried it without connecting a bridge over TP8 and TP9!!!!

I connected the TP8 and TP9 points and build the code. When am trying to execute its not working. When i tested input with multimeter its showing continuity.

Could you let me know what is U16...?

U16 is a driver to Mosfets, this chip is very sesitive to voltage peak and curent peak. 

In U16. HS (VS1) is a reference of Q8 and support until 120V peak (GD_PRI to VS1), this pin (HS) is related to input of PV and commutations of Flyback converter. 

you can remove this chip and you got no more continuity at TP13 and TP12 or only check the temperature of U16 with VDD and VSS active. 

Finally U16 is a point of failure of Flyback converter.

I ordered sample from TI.

I will check once again after replacing the FET Driver.

Could you let me know where this U16 is originated on the Kit.

If possible send me a pic... I didn't found it on the kit....

Please help me with this issue and also provide me details like documentation on Grid Injection.

Am working on Solar Micro Inverter Development Kit.

I have replaced the Driver IC SM72295, but still facing the same issue.

When i tested the kit with multimeter at testpoints TP12 & 13, the kit is showing short circuit at its input terminals..! (Sounding beep)

 

Kindly help me anybody how to fix this issue..?

Hai,

Am working on SMI DEV KIT.

I would like to replace the FETs at input stage as they get shorted.

the part number of the FET is "IRFB4227 IOR P520P XDD2"

I cant get the IC with the same part number, Can i replace it with other equivalent of IRFB4227...

if possible can anybody elaborate the significance difference between "IOR P520P XDD2" with other part numbers.

please help me bros and sis who are working on it...

Can we interface Solar Panel with 240W capacity directly with the solar micro inverter kit...?
Can u give some reference document on Grid Injection like how to inject over the grid and observe the output..?
How to check current and Voltage waveforms...?
