Sampling single ended signal with differential mode in F28377S?

Is it beneficial to use the differential mode of F28377S ADC to sample a single ended signal? My single ended signal voltage level is about 2.5V, is it fit into the dynamic range of the ADC in differential mode?

    It is worth noting that 12-bit mode only supports single-ended operation and 16-bit mode only supports differential operation. There will certainly be resolution and noise rejection benefits to sampling your signal in 16-bit differential mode vs. 12-bit single-ended. The disadvantages would be that you need more complicated signal conditioning circuitry (if the signal is natively single-ended), you need to use 2 ADC pins for differential mode, and 16-bit sampling takes more time than 12-bit sampling.

    To get your signal into differential format, the easiest way would be to use a circuit with a fully-differential op-amp, although it is also possible to build a circuit using 2 single-ended op-amps to do the conversion.
