How to improve the anti-interference ability of usb.

I am now using the C28075 DSC to design a servo driver product. However, when I use the USB for communication, I found that the USB signal is Interfered by the switching power supply. I have try to attach magnet ring to the USB wire, but it seems it is useless.

Therefore, is it any method to improve the anti-interference ability of the USB?  Circuit  of PCB design would be ok.

Best regards.

  • Hi Lam,

External Ferrite core or ferrite core based USB cable is the best option to get rid of frequent disconnections. If that doesn't help you much then try using hardware filters.

  • Lam,

We'd have to know more about your design to guess at a full solution. Make sure you're using a good-quality double-shielded USB cable. For the board layout, the DP and DM signals should be in a 90-ohm differential pair. Also, make sure you're using a crystal as the source for the USB bit clock (AUXPLLCLK), and that the USB bit clock is 60 MHz.
