I have generator that project need to measure RPM up to 6KHz. Typically XINTx could be used but I perfer to keep MCU resource distraction to minimum so QCAP or EQEP can be used.
EQEP look quite complicated, I have read QCAP can be used as frequency counter (every second capture) and simplier than EQEP approach.
Do you have demo code for QCAP (or EQEP) or perhaps some kind of register setup guideline to achieve this purpose?.
