Hi,

The program is download into flash of TMS320F28377s. It works well after power-up. The UART is also work well. But the problem is when I unplug USB cable and plug USB cable again. The UART doesn't work. I must to press the reset button to let UART work again. I appreciate if you can tell me what cause this problem. Thanks.

The power is from outside. The power of board is still on when USB cable unplug. Thanks

Hi John,

Does the C2000 continue to run (perhaps blink an LED) after the USB gets plugged in?

If so, my best guess is that you may need to do an SCI SWRESET to get the SCI to work again.

Hi Brett,

But the problem is I don't know when this USB will be unplugged and plugged? why does this issue happen? Is there any solution to solve this problem. Thanks.

Hi John,

Take a look at the description for BRKDT in the SCI portion of the TRM.

I feel there is a decent chance that this is the root cause.
