Hi,

You can simply refer to controlSuite examples to get yourself started. Download the Suite and Navigate to:
C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\F2837xS\v191\F2837xS_examples_Cpu1

Additionally, the controlSUITE examples are setup for controlCARDs, the F28377S Launchpad has a different external oscillator clock. For any example, make sure to go into the project properties->Build->C2000 Compiler->Advanced Options->Predefined Symbols and add "_LAUNCHXL_F28377S". This will make sure your system clock is being setup correctly, otherwise you will be running at 100Mhz and not 200Mhz.

oh ok nice great response, for instance how do someone navigates to main code environment assuming you want to write your own main code from the ccs v6, or you just have to modify it from the code example?

Yes, the easiest way to start is with an example and modify from there. Be aware GPIOs for certain examples may need to be altered since you are using a Launchpad.

He used a custom project for that presentation, but you can find several PWM examples in controlSUITE.
