Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28075, TMS320F28069
hi all ,
can the adc of tms320f28x mcu can sample the signal : fin=100MHz, bandwidth =500khz.
or what's the tms320f28069 or tms320f28075 adc Full Power Bandwidth?
Regards
rousseau.

Hi,

The F28069 ADC sample rate is 3.46MSPS, two channels can be sampled at half that. F28075 3.1MSPS Each (up to 9.3-MSPS System.)

Hi Roussseau,
This ADCs on these devices will not be able to handle this application. The full-power bandwidth is not characterized on either device, and in general these devices are targeted towards first Nyquist zone operation (not under sampling of higher frequency signals). The SOC clock (through PLL) will also not have low enough jitter to give usable SNR at these input frequencies.
I think you will need a discrete ADC for this application, so you may want to use the high speed ADC search tool here: http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/data-converters/high-speed-adc-greater-10msps-products.page or post a new question on the high speed ADC e2e forums: e2e.ti.com/.../
