Interfacing Absolute position encoder with DRV8312-69M-KIT RevD

Hi,

I'm trying to replace incremental rotary encoder with Absolute one in Lab12a.  There are some problems that I'm facing wth.

1- Is it possible to connect 10-bit encoder digital output to the J5 on the DRV8312-69M Kit? (I couldn't find the schematic for DRV8312-69M Kit.) 

2- If yes how I can convert the mechanical position to the electrical angle? 

3- And finally how I can use the calculated electrical angle as input for FOC and SpinTAC module?

I read all previous related posts about replacing the incremental encoder with other types, but there are some confusing things for me about the mechanical angle, and electrical angle, how to disable QEP and use the position sensor value instead and is there enough GPIO to interface 10-bit parallel input.  

I would appreciate any help.
