What's the meaning of 6MSPS on ADC module?

From 6MSPS , what we'll understood (like any time period limit or any frequency range or anything else)?

Hi Asim,

This is only specifying the maximum number of samples-per-second the ADC can process. It doesn't necessarily imply that the sample-to-output latency will be 1/sample rate and also doesn't necessarily imply anything about the ADC bandwidth or any other ADC performance parameters.

Hello Devin,

It means that 6.25MSPS is equivalent to 6.25MHz.
So ADC can hold maximum number of sample per second is 6.25MSPS on TMS320F2808 board.

A 6.25MSPS ADC can't necessarily sample a signal with 6.25MHz bandwidth.

The number of samples the device can hold in memory is probably quite a bit less than 6.25M samples. 6.25MSPS will be the rate data is generated.
