PICCOLO + DRV8305 BOOSTERPACK STAND ALONE

Hi everybody,

I have the PICCOLO with the DRV8305 BOOSTERPACK and I want to run it stand alone with external pot for the speed rpm function. I have already set up "true" the variables:

gMotorVars.Flag_enableSys gMotorVars.Flag_Run_Identify

and the motor run fine stand alone with the default 100rpm speed, without the GUI.

Now I want to set up an ADC channel for the pot in order to control the speed.

Which variable controls the rpm speed?

gMotorVars.SpeedRef_krpm

see 6.3 in:
C:\ti\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_16\docs\tutorials\motorware_hal_tutorial.pdf

you can use the per unit pot value to multiply by a maximum RPM value for your motor to set the SpeedRef_krpm
