F28069, F28075 Comparator Parameters

Hi Champion,

I have a question about F28069(Table 6-32), F28075(Table5-50) comparator maxmize parameter, 

My question is F28069 Comparator response time to PWM trip zone just have type value, do you have max value in -40deg or 125deg? Because it will decide its protection time.

For F28075, same question in response time, ramp response has max value?

    Joe,

    Parameters with Min/Max specs are almost always confirmed on every device during manufacturing.  Parameters with Typ are usually verified with a sample set of devices.

    For the comparator specs, you can see that only the CMPSS step response has a Max spec because this is the only parameter that is confirmed on every device during manufacturing.  The Typ numbers have been verified with both simulation and bench measurements.

    For the various CMPSS ramp response times, you can reasonably infer that the same Typ time difference between ramp scenarios would also apply to the Max times.  So with a 60ns step response, you can expect that the 1.65 V/us response is 60ns+5ns.

    I think you would be safe to expect that the comparator response time will be <= 70ns across all conditions for either comparator.
