TMS320F28335 internal ADC saturation

Hi, I'm using ezdsp tms320F28335 development board from spectrum digital. The internal ADC has to accept an input of 0-3v, but it is saturating at an input of 1.9v around and the difference between ADCREFM and ADCREFP is coming as 0.45v against 0.75v. Kindly address the issue

Hi Manideep,

Are these voltage readings done after the ADC has been powered up in software? Are you using internal or external reference mode?

You may also want to check the ADCREFIN and ADCLO pins, as well as the VDDA, VDDIO, and VDD supply voltages.

Do you have the socketed version of this kit? If so, you may want to try a different part if possible.

Hi Devin Cottier,
Thanks for your reply, those voltage readings are after powering up in software, I mean after loading the .out file and observing the output. I'm using internal reference and the ADCLO is connected to Analog ground, the difference between ADCREFM and ADCREFP is 0.45V against 0.75V, yes it is a socket version one, I'll try with other IC, thank you
