Schematic for TMDSCNCD28M36?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSDOCK28M36, CONTROLSUITE

I've got a customer using a project based on the F28M36; I have a TI Control Card (TMDSDOCK28M36) with, I believe a TMDSCNCD28M36.  When we power up the TI ControlCard, the system boots properly (both M3 and the C28 -- when the M3 releases it).  On their board (apparently derived from TMDSCNCD28M36), applying power lets the M3 boot but the C28 does not.  I'd like to compare schematics to see what is different (I suspect a power sequencing or GPIO difference).  I have their schematics; how do I get schematics for the TMDSCNCD28M36?

Thanks!

  • Hi Steve,

The schematics for this controlCARD can be found within controlSUITE.  Once installed, you will find them at the following path:
    \controlSUITE\development_kits\~controlCARDs\TMDSCNCD28M36_v1_2\R1_1\

This should help you compare the hardware side of things.

From a software-side, I would recommend loading and running their board with the dual-core blinky project (controlSUITE link below), if feasible with the pinout your customer has.
    \controlSUITE\device_support\f28m36x\v207\F28M36x_examples_Dual\blinky\

    Hopefully this helps!

    Thank you,
    Brett
