ADA code flashed in C2000 MCU, is it possible?

I am working on a TMX320F2837 TI development board; I need to know if it is possible to flash it with a code developed in ADA language. Is it possible? How can I flash a code compiled in ADA? If it is not possible to do it in C2000, is there other TI board to which I can flash a program compiled in ADA?

Hi Ezrablanco,

This isn't possible as far as I know. We support some open-source compilers, but only C/C++. I think your best bet would be to get something like the beagle bone black (http://beagleboard.org/) that can run linux, and then run your ADA code inside the linux environment.

What exactly is the application that you need to use ADA code? Do you have some external library only written in ADA?

There is no ADA compiler that I know of for C2000 devices (e.g., F2837x). You cannot just use any ADA compiler. It has to be a compiler designed for the target device.

You need to find an ADA compiler for your target first. Greenhills for example, makes an ADA cross-compiler that supports ARM processors among others. http://www.ghs.com/products/ada_optimizing_compilers.html. I just found this using Google. There are probably other ADA compilers from other companies as well. You can choose a target board after finding the right compiler.
