Hi Guys,

I am using ADS1209 Delta Sigma Modulator. In its datasheet it is mentioned as 16 bit Resolution. Does it mean that I should read only a 16 bit data using F28075 MCU ?

I intend to (and yes i can) read 32 bit data because then i don't have to do the shifting. Please let me know.

Hi Gautam,

ADS1209 gives two o/p Data : OutA (SDFM1-D1), OutB (SDFM1-D2), CLKOUT (SDFM1-C1, SDFM1-C2) & I am using the internal clock of ADS1209.

You can use either 16-bit datatype or 32-bit one. But 'Uint16' would be the most efficient one.
