Error 0x80000200/-1041

Sir

I have totally 5 Boards of my own design. Out of 5 boards 1 board is showing the problem as described below.

I checked all the signals at Emulator with working board and faulty board.

Everything is fine but when I connect to CCS i get error message as follows

Error connecting to the target:
Error 0x80000200/-1041
Fatal Error during: OCS,
Device driver: Problem with the Emulation Controller.
It is recommended to RESET EMULATOR. This will disconnect each
target from the emulator. The targets should then be power cycled
or hard reset followed by an emureset and reconnect to each target.

I changed DSP in faulty board but it showing same problem.

If you guys find solution, kindly share details.

Hi Madhu,

What emulator are you using? Does it plug onto a JTAG header on your board or is it built into your custom board?

What C2000 device is used on your custom board?

Hi Brett,

I am using spectrum digital emulator XDS510LC.

JTAG header in on my custom board.

I am using TMS320F2808PZQ in my custom board.

All my other 4 boards are working fine except one which is having the error described in previous post.

Hi Madhu,

If 4 of the exact same board are working, I would suspect that an assembly error is somehow at play. I would check the power rails of the device to make sure that they are valid and in range. I'd then look at XRSn to see if it ever goes high - this signifies whether the device ever gets out of the reset state.

Unfortunately, I don't believe the error code, that you are receiving, is going to help you narrow down the problem.

Sir

Even i checked, each power rails and all are in valid range.
Also, I have verified XRSN state. ( it will be high )

Still error code remains same.

I still have the same problem, how to fix it? TI DSP has too many emulator pins, so error may be bigger than ARM. STM32 is the world's easyest chip to use,
