CLAln and CLAexp not working on 28377Delfino

Hi,

The Ln and exp functions use tables while DIV does not. Can you check that the tables are in CLA accessible memory, or use the tables in the CLA data rom on delfino. There are examples to do that (see acos) in the CLAmath library.

The acos example has 3 build configurations, one of which (datarom) which demonstrates calling the acos function using the lookup tables already in the 28377 data ROM. You can use that as a template when using exp and Ln.

Alternatively, you can load the tables to a RAM that is then assigned to the CLA at runtime. You have to be careful when you work in standalone mode; then the tables must be loaded to flash and copied to RAM (that will be given to the CLA at run time) using memcpy in main(). I think all the examples have a FLASH build configuration that demonstrate this.

No the tables are included in the library, you just have to make sure the section Cla1MathTables is placed in RAM that the CLA can access. I suggest you see chapter 4 of the CLA Math Users guide
