Does TMDSPLCKITV4-ARIB support 2 RS blockC?

I tries to use "zero configuration GUI" to setup PLC module for TMDSPLCKITV4-ARIB.

Dose TMDSPLCKITV4-ARIB support FCC bandplan?

Additionally, there is no 2 RS block option for "zero configuration GUI"

Dose it not 2 RS block function?

No the TMDSPLCKITV4-ARIB does not support FCC bandplan.

you would need to use the below SOM instead for FCC

The 2 RS block is supported only in FCC mode .

The 2 RS block is enabled when the macFCCLegacyMode PIB is 1 which is the default condition . Details in package below

Hi,

I have a problem when dowloading the firmware v7.7.6.6 associatedto the package TI-PLC-G3-FCC-SN

(G3-PLC standard for narrowband OFDM Power Line Communications) .

The Firmware Version on the System Info screen is not updated. It remains to the old value (in my case 7.6.5.0).

It is confusing ... Does it means does the Flash Firmware command has failed ?

Furthermore, I have encountered some problems with the release 7.6.5.0.

- It seems to support the macFCCLegacyMode partially. The FCH modulation is Coherent, but the Two RS Block

mode is not supported.

- The 8PSK mode is not working betwen two TI platform

- The Coherent modulation can not be selected from the menu

For the TI-PLC-G3-FCC-SN the hardware is the

Please use the right board and firmware package based on the bandplans and the application needs .

please check with the right firmware for the issues you see.
