2MTR-DYNO Control

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: 2MTR-DYNO

Hi,

I'm planning to use the  2MTR-DYNO InstaSPIN-FOC Evaluation Module to build a M-G dyno test bench, I have considered the following TI's control kits:

  1. 1 TI F28069 LaunchPad and 2 BoostTXL-DRV8301 Boost Packs
  2.  2 DRV8301-69M-KIT
  3. 1 DRV8301-69M-KIT and BoostTXL-DRV8301+LuanchXL-F28027

But all the kits above seem to have no communication pin like CAN or Analog Input to let me control the motor's speed and torque by third part  software via TI's controller.

Maybe I didn't find the pin yet. Does anyone know how to control the motor's speed and torque by third part  software via TI's controller?

Thanks.

  • Hi Zhiyan,

This automotive forum is mostly for analog / mixed signal ICs for automotive and not MCU/DPS and software topics. There are seperate formus for those topics. I would suggest you post also to the C2000 32-bit Microcontrollers Forum (Piccolo) forum since you are using one in the F28069, there are a lot of threads about 2MTR-DYNO on that forum. I will move this thread to that forum so hopfully someone can help you there. The DRVxxx devices are supported out of the Motor Drivers Forum if you have future questions on those devices.   There is also an INSTAspin forum which might also be better or another place to post if the C2000 forum isn't able to answer this.
