Ferrite beads on the VDDIO and VDD pins

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSCNCD28379D, TMS320F28377D

The "General hardware design/BGA PCB design/BGA decoupling" wiki article recommends not to use Ferrite beads on the power rails of Digital processors except on the analog circuits like the PLL.

The schematic for the TMDSCNCD28379D F28379D controlCARD seems to contradict this recommendation. There is a ferrite bead between the 3V3 power supply and the 3V3 that powers the IO pins of the DSP and a ferrite bead between the 1V2 power supply and the 1V2 that powers the core voltage of the DSP.

Is it recommended to isolate the Core voltage and the VDDIO voltage pins from the main power plane with Ferrrite beads on the TMS320F28377D - BGA337 DSP?
