TMDSDOCK28335, CCS 4.1.2 Debug Crash, Example_28335_Flash

Is there something more to the flash example? It crashes eclipse when I go to debug mode after a successful build.

  • Take a look at these threads to make sure it isn't related - this is sortof nasty:

  • It seems installing CCS33 supplied in the kit breaks an existing CCS4.1.2 on Vista. When uninstalled, CCS 41 works in debug. Sadly, the CC33 has a more intuitive UI, but ....

In another post, someone said the two CCS were compatible.

  • My checking the debug crash was done after the first flash crash with the cpuTimer example. Now that I uninstalled CCS33 and debugged cpuTimer on ccs412 successfully, I need to understand that I can program the flash on the control card and not break it (write over some necessary boot up code, if there is any in it).
