We have the TMS320F28027FPTQ processor coupled to a DRV 8305 driver chip in a standard format per the reference schematic. We are supplying 3.3V to the chip with an LDO and using the internal 1.8V regulator. the board current is approx 125mA. Everything functions normally, motors spin, chip programs etc - but the chip is running at 90C. Do these processors normally run at this surface temperature ?
