using shaft encoder with F28069-Launchpad

hi,

i have F28069-Launchpad and using CCS6.1 for running Instaspin-MOTION on this board.

i test and run the labs until proj_lab06d and now i want to test the Spintac Sensored Speed Controller and Position Control on this Launchpads(proj_lab12a, proj_lab12b , ...).

my question is how can i use the shaft encoder in F28069-Launchpad?

is there ant input for speed sensor?

and final question is

is there any update for "InstaSPIN Projects and Labs User’s Guide" documents for MOTORWARE 17?

Refer to the schematic of F28069-Launchpad, you can connect a quadrature encoder to QEP_A connector if you select '#define J1' in user.h.
There is no special description about this in Labs Guide, will add it in next version.

There was an update for the Projects and Labs User's Guide with MotorWare 17, the changes are outlined in the revision history on page 4 of the document

I've also got the similar task. I hope that MotorWare 17 will add more labs to use InstaSPIN with Shaft Encoder.
