No the kit cannot be used in standalone mode, it does not have voltage loop regulation at the output, you will need to use build level 2 and set grid to zero.

We have tested the design at 220Vrms 50Hz,

In build level three this is auto detected,

It is not tested,

If by standalone mode you mean you want to regulate the AC voltage at the output in standalone mode, the answer is yes.

there is not voltage loop implemented in the code.
