CCS/TMS320F28035: Motor direction

Hi,

I am on level 6 of PM sensorless code. The motor starts initially in anti clockwise direction for half revolution and then changes to clockwise. This happens for the first start and subsequently it rotates clockwise everytime even when the motor is restarted.

Why like this not sure. But we need the motor to continue to rotate anticlockwise.

Please suggest.

1. Set correct motor parameters for smo in PM_Sensorless-Settings.h.
2. Set appropriate SpeedRef and IqRef for switching from force angle to sensorless position close loop.
3. Tune speed PI regulator parameters.
4. Tune smo1.Kslide and smo1.Kslf parameters.

Thanks Yanming,
Oops. I forgot to mention that tuning SMO was very difficult and not successful hence I have used the encoder using the QEP module.
Could you please suggest.
