"It’s been a very exciting week sorting through the entries for our “Bright Idea” LED Dev Kit Giveaway contest but I’ve finally managed to settle on the winning entry which wins Texas Instruments’ C2000-powered DC-DC LED application development kit. There were several interesting contenders, including an electronically-steerable bicycle headlight, a system for in-pavement, dynamically configurable lane markings for highways and airports but the Grand Prize winner turned out to a be the “High-Tech Light Paint” room lighting system, submitted by Nicholas Cravotta, of BlueMatter Design.
