Hello,

Do you have example software and library for F28069 USB Host CDC class? I can't find them for Host CDC even though I saw them for Device CDC in controlSUITE.

Hi Kazu,

We do not have an example for this usage. Though it should be supported.

What is your use case? Typically our MCUs would be used as devices when communicating data.

Hi Sal,

Thank you for your reply. It's used for interprocessor communication. I really wanted to use SPI, but F28069 has only USB Host available as I/O. The opposite MCU has USB device, but doesn't have USB host. Please give me some advice.

Hi,

What is the problem with using SPI or SCI/UART or I2C for the communication?

Those protocols additionally will take less MIPS on your devices. The USB library is a little bulky and requires more CPU cycles than the other communication protocols.

Hi Sal,

Yes, you are right. But F28069 which was used in the existing system has only USB available in the next system. I don't want to change any I/Os from the existing system to the next system. Please give me some advice.
