Customer is loading firmware on multiple TMS320F28035 boards via SPI and SCI. They need to know how to create multiple Motorola S-record hex files in CCS 6.1.3. They aren't sure what kind of Image File to produce; a Host image or Load image.
The customer would like to create a concatenated firmware image that includes all device in the system hosted on a PC. The PC would send images to an embedded host that would send out images to individual devices.
Customer has successfully created Motorola S-Record hex file(s), but they seem too small. The .OUT file is 247K in size; the .HEX files are only 10K in size.
Please advise on how to configure the Load Image Options in Project->Properties->Build->C2000 Hex Utility->Load Image Options
Any advice you could offer would be appreciated.
