Hi,

only to be sure that I've understood well,

I'm migrating a project from a 28335 device to a 2837xS.

I need to sync a group of 4 ePWM modules.

Looking the figure 13-7 I see that the syncout of the epwm3-6-9-12 are connected to nothing. So is impossible to set the epwm3 to be a master for the epwm4-5-6?

Have I to set the ePWM1 as a dummy master for all other ePWM?

Hi Giuseppe,

Your understanding is largely correct. It is likely best if ePWM1 is the synchronization master for your ePWM system.

(do note that you don't have to use ePWM1 only as a dummy - you can use it as a PWM :) )
