Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28075, DRV8332, DRV8312, CONTROLSUITE
Dear Sir,
In order to have a hands on experience, I have procured DRV8312-C2-Kit for BLDC motor drive controller with TMS320F28035 control card.
My requirement is to design a pcb to control 6 motors (3BLDC & 3 Stepper).
Following are the queries:
1. Can we use TMS320F28035 controller for new design? The question is because it is having 14 PWM channels only. or any other controller is preferred?
2. Can we use TMS320F28075 because it is having 24channel PWM? Also it is mentioned that PMW type is TYPE4. Is there any limitations?
3. The driver DRV8312 is having 3.5A cont. current. but I required around 7A. Can we use DRV8332 (one is to one replacement in DRV8312-C2-Kit schematic)?
4. Instead of DRV8312 / DRV8332 shall we go for external FET? Which one is preferred?
