Hi,

I used the PVGUI with the Quick Start Guide and it works perfectly.

I modified the PV_Table1.asm in order to change the emulator parameters for an application and I've been trying to compile the "SolarExplorer_PVEmulator_F2802x" project and it does it.

The problem is that i can make it work. There is not a value on the V-pv pins

Do you know which parameters have i to change to emulate the radiation in the code?

is that the way i should change the PV emulator parameters?

On the PV emulator code, the light command was provided by the other C2000 MCU that is on the solar explorer board to do the control of the PV inveretr and DC-DC code,

This infor is shared over SPI

rdata[1] = SpiaRegs.SPIRXBUF;
}

if(rdata[0]==1)
{
Gui_LightCommandValue=rdata[1];
}

If you want to over-ride you can write to Gui_LightCommandValue

I do it and it works, but i don't understand why the emulator doesn´t work with the parameters i put on the PV_Table1.asm file

I modified this file to work at 1A for Isc and 8.1V for Voc.

Everytime i measure the V_pv pin, i get more than 8.1V and 1A. It is suppossed to get the maximun power at 7V but the parameters i put, doesn't work.

I don't really know how to modify the PV characteristics for the emulator. is there any other way?

David,

I the PV emulator is limited in it's capability, can you share the curve that you are trying to generate?

It could be that the power stage is not capable of , or not correctly tuned to handle such a PV curve.
