Starterware/TMS320F28335: Emulator, is it required?

Hello,

I'm using TMS320F28335EZDSP kit. I don't really know if i have to connect the dsp kit directly to the PC or I should use an emulator? Notice that I've connected it before to another PC and it worked properly. I need to re-configure my kit to a new PC with CCSV5. I forgot how to establish the setting for a new project again. I don't have emulator, do i need to buy new one or not?

Hamza,

You should be able to use the USB cable which came with the kit to connect and program the device. There should also be literature with the kit to get you started.
