Hello

I am curious, how should I physically connect two launchpad(s) - I mean which 12 pins are used for 8 bit data transfer by uPP.
TI-pinMux service suggested unused GPIO for the launchpad.

Hi,

Not very clear on your query. All the 12pins (8 datapins, 1 CLK pins and 3 control pins) need to be used for this.

According to Ti-PinMux I have to use 10,...,21 GPIO for uPP, However the Launchpad does not have GPIO 12,13,17,20,21 connected to the output connector.

Hi Oleg,

You have understood things correctly.

The F28379D launchPAD does not provide access to every GPIO pin of the device. Instead, it only provides an interface to a subset of the device's pins. It will not be possible to evaluate the uPP with the launchPAD.

I might recommend using the TMDSDOCK28379D as an evaluation kit for experimenting with the uPP - until you build your own board.

I am sorry for my question but
Is there any trick to mux uPP to different pins giving up the speed?

I need to transfer 5 bytes to DDS for 1 us.

Hi Oleg,

uPP function is available only on one mux options and not available on any other pins.
