TMS320F28335: Is Delfino 28335 recommended for new design?

Hi All,

I am again, going through a design refresh of our inverter control boards. We are considering the upgrade to the Delfino F2837xD devices. With the price point of the older device, what are the reasons why one would use the F28335 over the F2837x? It seems like an upgrade in all respects.

Is the F28335 still recommended for new designs?
