I don;t quite understand,

C2000 is digital microcontroller, so the PWM is implemented in a digital fashion, for us the period is a value in a register and so is duty cycle.

we do have software located at C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\SolarExplorer_v1.1\SolarExplorer_PVBattChg_F2803x which uses the sepic sage on the board for battery charging..

What voltage does the MOSFET conduct at.

So what voltage is a logical 1 for the pwm signal

this is understood from the Gate Driver, please note the PWM signal with a logical 1 in code is 3.3V at the MCU pin, this pin does not have suffecient current or voltage to connect to the MOSFET directly, hence a gate driver is used. You can refer to the schematic of the design for the gate driver part number.

The gate driver supply voltage then controls the MOSFET, please refer to the schematic and the BOM and gate driver and MOSFET datasheet.

look up the part number from the BOM and the search on google :) it's an essential skill for any electrical engineer..

Hey, So I've found the data sheets, but am having a hard time interpreting them (not an electrical engineer)

I was just wondering the operating parameters of the gate driver. It seems like it takes in a 3.3v signal in the uA range.

and I was just wondering what it outputs? (With the 12v supply voltage from the TI board)
