LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Lab04 Does Not Spin Motor

I'm running labs on LaunchXL-F28069M + BOOSTXL-DRV8301. I was able to identify motor and proceeded to all labs prior to Lab04. However, the motor does not spin in Lab04 after setting

gMotorVars.Flag_enableSys to 1

gMotorVars.Flag_Run_Identify to 1

gMotorVars.IqRef_A to 0.2 (even greater)

SpeedRef_krpm was set to 0.1 by default. Please advise what is missing?

I confirmed that running Lab03b still drives motor successfully.

    Please check below items.
    1. The motor parameters is correct in user.h. Make sure you set the motor parameters identified in lab02a.
    2. The motor is running with load, if yes, what load? You have to set a higher IqRef if the motor starts spinning with load, try to increase the IqRef to to enable the motor shaft starts spinning.

    Hi Yanming,

    This issue has been resolved by using the correct evaluation kit, BOOSTXL-DRV8301, on which my pump ran smoothly, and I got consistent motor parameters. Thanks to you and Chris.
