LAUNCHXL-F28377S: DAC on Chip

The internal DAC on the F28377S can output a maximum voltage of VDDA (3.47v) and the output is unipolar. You can definitely amplify that range and convert to bipolar as needed. Please take a look at this TI Design for an idea of how to accomplish that www.ti.com/.../slau525.pdf

Thanks for your support. Is it possible that not only generate +/-10V but also 0-10V from unipolar DAC? Otherwise I'll consult DAC section.

Both ranges are certainly possible as outlined earlier.

1. For 0-10V range only, you can simply add a non-inverting amplifier to the output of the DAC.

2. For +/-10V range, please refer to the circuit in the previous link.

I require both 0-10V and +/-10V ranges. In slau519 there is a solution but the DAC's AVDD is +15V and AVSS is -15V. Concerning Launchxl-F28377S two amplifiers are needed, are they? And amplifiers will switch when the voltage rang is different, is it? Current output is not required in my system.

The solution outlined in slau519 is built around the DAC8760 which is already a bipolar DAC. If DAC8790 works better for your application, please post the questions concerning that on their forum http://e2e.ti.com/support/data_converters/etc_data_converters/ as they would better be able to assist you.
