Hi,

I am using TMS320F28379D's DAC to drive an analog circuit. 


I wanted to know if the DAC of the microcontroller is an actual DAC or if it is implemented using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) .

    Its an Actual Programmable 12bit-DAC. Do refer to TRM's Section 11.1 Buffered Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) Overview
