TMS320F28027: ADC conversion delay

Part Number: TMS320F28027

I am trying to simulate a cascaded voltage - current controller for a Boost converter in Simulink. These PI controllers will then be implemented in a F28027.

I would like to add the time delay that comes from the ADC conversion but I cannot find this in the datasheet. Where could I find this information?

Take a look a the archived workshop for the F28035 -> Student Guide - in the ADC chapter, there is a detailed description of the ADC timing. (Although this is for the F28035, it may be very similar for F28027 - at least it will get you "in the ballpark."

Hi Simon,

This depends on the selected ADCCLK and S+H duration (S+H is controlled by the ACQPS field in SOC control registers).

These timings are diagrammed in the datasheet in "6.9.1.1.3.3 ADC Sequential and Simultaneous Timings"
