Hi,

I have managed to spin the motor with BOOSTXL-DRV8301.

I went through the InstaSpin labs, found needed parameters, learned how to control the motor from the program code.

What I need now is a help with a separate PWM signal generation on a separate GPIO from DRV8301 controls. Not simultaneously with the motor but in the same program.

I tried ControlSuite examples. They work well, but when I try to merge them PLL_Setup func goes in the conflict with InstaSpin functions and I am unable to compile/link the project.

Could you please direct me to the working example or successful thread? My search has failed.

You don't need to merge all configuration code of MCU from controlSuite into motorware, you can refer to the pwm initialize code in motorware lab.
1. Set GPIO to pwm output as HAL_setupGpios() in hal.c
2. Set PWM registers as HAL_setupPwms() in hal.c
3. Enable PWM output as HAL_enablePwm().
4. Set PWM compare register using PWM_write_CmpA() or PWM_write_CmpB().
