Would you please let me know what SW is pre-loaded at controlCARD of 28069M in TMDSHVMTRINSPIN kit ?

I have executed several Lab examples of motorware via JTAG, so I'd like to restore it

There is no "out of box" software loaded into RAM for the F28069M MCU. The only thing pre-loaded is the ROM, which you cannot edit. "Restoring" it could be done by flashing a blank C project, which would be useless unless you wanted the MCU to do nothing upon reset.

Hi Sean,

I guess you are confusing bear F28069M chipset, I mean SW in TMDSCNCD28096MISO controlCARD.
Before I downloaded Lab example on the controlCARD, I could see it worked with GUI composer.
There should be some pre-loaded SW in it.

Please elaborate upon the statement "I could see it worked with GUI composer." What was the functionality you witnessed? Ability to connect? To spin a motor?

Hi Sean,

I could go though motor identification process with GUI composer with controlCARD. I could see motor spining during the process as well.
Is it possible to spin motor without pre-loaded SW in the controlCARD ?

Hae Ryong,

The GUI requires a .out file in order to work. Whichever .out file was in the GUI composer lab is the lab that you ran (i.e. if the .out file had been compiled by lab2b, the GUI is running lab2b). The GUI composer puts code in RAM or Flash, so you still loaded code onto the device, and did not work on some pre-loaded lab. If you look at lab2a write-up, you can see that there is the option to have the CTRL and EST run from ROM, but the lab structure for ID still requires some variables to be executed from RAM/Flash, such as gMotorVars_Flag_enableSys
