Hex file does not work on proteus simulator

hello ,

iam using simulink to build my project it produces .out file and i can convert it to .hex by cmd command but file.hex does not work on proteus 8 .

what is the problem ?

is that method to convert .out to .hex right or there is another one ?

can i convert .out file to .cof instead of .hex ?

Hi,

Did you check by varying the Hex file type from Intel-Hex to Motorola-Hex etc ?

This sounds like a Proteus issue. Have you contacted Proteus support? I believe they have forums as well.

Hello,
You should change the extension of *.out file to *.cof or *.elf (as per the default output format of .out file supported by simulink )and then use it for simulation with proteus.It should work fine.
